(A small heads up: the next two weeks are a holiday, so we’ll be having one holiday post each week. I hope you enjoy them!)
This week we turn our attention to Saddle Up and Read! This org holds a special place in my heart for a couple reasons: I was (and still am, when I have the time) an avid reader… and I also just love horses, ha ha. This group is tackling literacy in children, as well as showing children of color that they are protagonists in these books, and helping them see themselves in these stories.
